Mary’s programs come from her experience with Integrative Medicine, Joyful Living, and from her heart. Participants learn ways to move towards health and joy in their personal lives. Health care professionals learn how to help their patients through the maze of complementary and alternative medicine.
Since 1995, Mary has been a National Presenter and Keynote Speaker on a variety of Integrative Medicine and Women’s topics. She also does workshops on Finding Your Joy! based on her book, Invite Joy Into Your Life.
Mary is a Certified Nurse Practitioner with a PhD in Natural Health and a Doctorate in Naturopathy. She has an Integrative Medicine practice at Otsego Memorial Hospital. Mary is certified to teach Deepak Chopra’s Perfect Health Workshop, which is a mind and body program on Ayurvedic Medicine and a member of the North American Menopause Society. Mary is currently working on a Fellowship in anti-aging and regenerative medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Her practice is a blend of women’s health, internal and alternative medicines. She combines conventional medicine with diet, exercise, supplements, herbs, mind/body medicine and Ayurvedic Medicine to help an individual find a health plan that will work for her.
Mary provides genuine care for the patient with mind/body medicine. She strongly believes the mind has a powerful impact on how we feel and the diseases or health problems we develop. She uses a holistic approach and looks at the whole person, along with their environment and the impact it has on an individual’s health.
